Return & Exchange Policy

At Rita Shoe Co, we take immense pride in the quality and fit of our premium footwear. To maintain our high standards and ensure exclusive stock availability for all our patrons, we operate under a streamlined Exchange-Only Policy.

1. The Exchange-Only Rule

To maintain the integrity of our curated stock, we offer an Exchange-Only policy.

  • No Monetary Refunds: We do not provide cash or bank refunds.

  • One-Time Exchange: Each order is eligible for an exchange exactly once to ensure the perfect fit.

2. Eligibility & Timelines

  • 7-Day Window (Industry Standard): All exchange requests must be initiated within 7 days of the delivery date. Requests made after this 7-day period cannot be entertained.

  • Valid Reasons for Exchange:

    • The product received is the Wrong Size.

    • The product received is the Wrong Article or Color.

    • The product is Damaged upon arrival (Physical manufacturing defect).

3. Non-Exchangeable Items

  • Sale/Clearance Items: Products purchased from dedicated "Offer" or "Clearance" sections are Final Sale and cannot be exchanged.

  • Worn Products: Footwear showing any signs of wear on the sole, creases on the upper leather, or missing original packaging/tags will be rejected for exchange.

4. Mandatory Proof for Damage Claims

For claims regarding damaged or incorrect items, a clear, unedited Unboxing Video is highly recommended to expedite the verification process. Approval of damage claims without video proof remains at the sole discretion of Rita Shoe Co.

5. The Exchange Process & Shipping Responsibilities

⚠️ Important Note on Shipping: To keep our premium footwear accessibly priced, customers must ship the product back to us at their own expense. Rita Shoe Co does not provide free reverse pickups.

For Lucknow Customers

  • In-Store Exchange (Free): Avoid all shipping costs by visiting our premises between 2:00 PM and 9:00 PM for an immediate, free size or article swap.

  • Delivery Exchange: If you prefer it handled via courier, you must send the pair back to us at your own expense. A flat fee of ₹49 applies to ship the new pair back to your doorstep.

For Outstation Customers

  1. Request: Email ritashoeco@gmail.com with your Order ID and photos/video of the product within 7 days.

  2. Ship It Back: Once your request is approved, you must courier the product back to our facility at your own expense using any reliable local courier service.

  3. Reshipping Fee: Before we dispatch your replacement pair, a flat Exchange Charge of ₹49 must be paid to cover the courier cost of sending the new pair out to you.

6.  3-Month Warranty (Sole Cracks Only)

We stand by our footwear expertise and the structural integrity of our premium bases. We provide a dedicated 3-month warranty specifically for Sole Cracks on our genuine leather footwear range.

  • Coverage: This warranty applies strictly to the splitting or cracking of the sole under normal wear conditions within 90 days of purchase. It does not cover natural leather creasing, superficial scuffs, or accidental damage.

  • Process: The customer must courier the pair back to our Lucknow facility at their own expense for inspection.

  • Reshipping Fee: The flat ₹49 exchange charge applies to cover the courier cost of delivering the replacement or repaired pair back to your doorstep.
