Return & Exchange Guidelines
At Rita Shoe Co, we take pride in the quality of our handcrafted footwear. To maintain our standards and ensure stock availability for all customers, we operate under a strict Exchange-Only Policy.
1. The No-Refund Rule
To maintain our handcrafted quality and exclusive stock, we offer an Exchange-Only policy. We do not provide monetary refunds at this time.
All sales are eligible for Exchange only, provided the conditions below are met.
2. Eligibility & Timelines
7-Day Window (Strict): All exchange requests must be initiated within 3 days (72 hours) of the delivery date. Requests made after this window will not be entertained.
Valid Reasons for Exchange:
The product received is the Wrong Size.
The product received is the Wrong Article/Color.
The product received is Damaged (Physical defect).
Exchange Limit: To ensure sustainable operations, each order is eligible for Exchange only once.
3. Non-Exchangeable Items
Sale/Clearance Items: Products purchased during a sale, using a "Clearance" discount, or from the "Offer" section are Final Sale and cannot be exchanged or returned.
Worn Products: Any footwear showing signs of wear on the sole, creases on the upper leather, or missing original packaging/tags will not be accepted for exchange.
4. Mandatory Proof for Damage Claims
For claims regarding Damaged Products or Wrong Items, a clear, unedited Unboxing Video is highly recommended to expedite the approval process.
Approval of damage claims without video proof remains at the sole discretion of Rita Shoe Co.
5. The Exchange Process
For Local Customers
In-Store: Visit our store between 2:00 PM and 9:00 PM for an immediate size/article swap.
Home Pickup: If you prefer an exchange via delivery, you must arrange and pay for the to-and-fro charges via a 3rd party aggregator (e.g., Porter).
For Outstation Customers
Request: Email ritashoeco@gmail.com with your Order ID and photos of the product.
Ship Back: Once approved, courier the product back to us at your own expense.
Reshipping Fee: A flat fee of ₹109 must be paid to cover the courier charges for sending the new pair back to you.
6. Manufacturing Warranty (Leather Only)
We provide a 3-month warranty specifically for Sole Cracks on genuine leather footwear.
The customer must follow the "Outstation" shipping process and pay the ₹89 reshipping fee for warranty fulfillment.
